event round-up: October

It’s Friday kids, and while the week was short, it wasn’t without it struggles. But it’s the weekend and I’m off to Minneapolis so let’s stay positive, shall we?

There is a lot going on in the rescue world and with the weather turning chillier (maybe?) there’s a lot to keep you busy. I’ve rounded up some events happening here in Chicago but as always, let me know if you have any events I should add!

Also, don’t forget to sign up for yoga tonight! We have a few spots left so grab your ticket now or at the door. Proceeds go directly to Famous Fido Rescue and you’ll automatically be entered into our raffle. Snacks and wine will also be served because you gotta detox to retox (amirite?!) so buy your tickets now. Hope to see you there!

THE RESCUES:

I know how much you all like your happy endings and this week we have one!
But first, meet D-ogee (pronounced D-O-G) is such a sweet pup who would do well in a home willing to put in the time to train an energetic puppy. He’s full of love and kisses (see below) and has the most dreamy eyes (again see below). For more information on D-ogee, click here.

Okay, happy time! Meet Balto, I mean how cute is he? He is such a little love bug and highly food motivated that I know he’s having a great time in his new forever home. Congrats Balto!

THE RUNWAY:

I told you I loved a Victorian collar and here is proof. I have been dying to show this shirt off because it’s constantly on rotation and perfect for fall. I bought it while on vacation in Copenhagen and love it. I paired it with simple black jeans and my favorite booties. Shop similar items below!
